I dropped into FaMESHed and saw the new set from Cae with the matching shoes by GoS and swooned.  Normally jewelry like this isn't my thing, but there was just something about this set that drew me to it.  It feels so spring-y and also made me feel beautiful and powerful.

 

 Sometimes I think women miss the ability to be beautiful and sexy...and still be powerful.  The power doesn't come from being beautiful and sexy, it comes from within themselves.  I've been saying this for 10 years in Second Life, anyone can make an avatar pretty and even though they are "cartoons" I believe they still give off an aura of the real person that created them. I feel like my avatar portrays my kindness, but also my confidence and my feeling of being a powerful woman (even in lingerie and heels!).  Be strong powerful women, regardless of your fashion style....be a lady boss!

I was busted...in this super cute outfit 👀 I was so glad I saw this Zenith dress on the lovely Britain Knave in a Flickr pic as I had overlooked it originally at FaMESHed.  I ran back and picked it up quickly...and loved it as I do with almost all Zenith items!

I also picked up this cute pose from Shiny Shabby by XXY poses in the Fresh series, along with my RAMA #selfie No Parking back drop from The Gacha Garden.  Also I've started playing with light projectors for my pictures, which I think adds a fun dynamic to the pic.  Normally I use wind light settings and some of the filters in the camera in Second Life, but really like the outcome of this.

When I saw the new Foxes main store lingerie release I knew I was going to need to get them!  I ran over today, and saw this adorable print!  As I clicked on the set to pay, I squealed in delight as the pretties appeared in my inventory and I ran home to try it on.

Some Enchanted Evening

As we all know most of the shopping events in Second Life are themed. Some themes are more popular than others, and with it being February I was certain most themes would be based on love and/or romance.

So when Enchantment announced it's theme Cinderella, I admit I was a little.....meh. Don't get me wrong, I love my Disney princess movies and I can see the romance in a Cinderella theme.  I just didn't have high expectations that there would be a lot I wanted to pick up.  And that's when I'm usually wrong!

 

This sweet and innocent look is just heavenly!  I felt like a doll or a princess all day wearing this.  This dress by Mimikri is just so so lovely, I got so many compliments wearing it....I was kinda surprised.  

 

The hair by Runaway, has little glitter sparkles all over it.....and who doesn't love some fairy lights!

Vintage Romance

Although historically I've not been big into Valentine's Day celebrations, I made a little visit to the Vintage Romance sim due to the pics I'd seen on Flickr (her pics are much better than mine LOL).  I thought this would make a good lead into Valentine's Day weekend, as I'm sure there will be lots of love things to blog about.  This sim is lovely, and romantic!  It was enjoyable to stroll around the grounds and discover the cute little places they have set up.  There are cottages available on this sim for monthly rentals I believe (however I think I saw they are sold their first month).  I would recommend taking a little look at their public areas, take a stroll down the cobble stone path ways, inhale the sweet air, and feel some vintage romance!

Time to change that!  Still having some fun with different wind light settings in my new dome.....

I'm kinda loving this dome for pics...I've always tried to do my pics on sims, so this is new to me but i love the moods it sets.

Along those same lines, I'm loving my current house. I never thought of myself as a shabby chic kinda girl...but I'm loving this barn!

 

This restored barn was offered by Trompe Loeil at the December round of Uber.  It was perfect for my winter snow scene as it did have a snow add on.  I've  fallen in love with it, so I'll be leaving it a while  longer!

Angels in Second Life

I love Second Life, and I love shopping in SL....as do most women I think.  I don't often drool over outfits or looks......but then I got this one....

Meet Angelberry by Blueberry......I'll give you all a moment.  This pretty little number is out now at Epiphany, and I was lucky enough to have a friend get the whole set that I grabbed of MP. The detail on this set is really unbelievable, and the wings are bento which is so fun!

As you can see I had loads of fun taking pics of this, I have like a hundred more!

I also tried my tears for my Catwa head, which honestly I was surprised by how much I enjoyed messing around with them and the impact they had on my pictures.  I've been in SL almost 10 years and am amazed by how far we've come.
