I'm not sure what it is about Second Life, but around holidays I usually turn into a big goofball that wants to decorate herself head to toe in theme!  Usually this includes something silly on my head, lucky so many designers have gotten onto the silly headband craze 😁

Vintage Romance

Although historically I've not been big into Valentine's Day celebrations, I made a little visit to the Vintage Romance sim due to the pics I'd seen on Flickr (her pics are much better than mine LOL).  I thought this would make a good lead into Valentine's Day weekend, as I'm sure there will be lots of love things to blog about.  This sim is lovely, and romantic!  It was enjoyable to stroll around the grounds and discover the cute little places they have set up.  There are cottages available on this sim for monthly rentals I believe (however I think I saw they are sold their first month).  I would recommend taking a little look at their public areas, take a stroll down the cobble stone path ways, inhale the sweet air, and feel some vintage romance!

Oh goody...I'm behind on posts \o/

Time to change that!  Still having some fun with different wind light settings in my new dome.....

I'm kinda loving this dome for pics...I've always tried to do my pics on sims, so this is new to me but i love the moods it sets.

Along those same lines, I'm loving my current house. I never thought of myself as a shabby chic kinda girl...but I'm loving this barn!

 

This restored barn was offered by Trompe Loeil at the December round of Uber.  It was perfect for my winter snow scene as it did have a snow add on.  I've  fallen in love with it, so I'll be leaving it a while  longer!

Angels in Second Life

I love Second Life, and I love shopping in SL....as do most women I think.  I don't often drool over outfits or looks......but then I got this one....

Meet Angelberry by Blueberry......I'll give you all a moment.  This pretty little number is out now at Epiphany, and I was lucky enough to have a friend get the whole set that I grabbed of MP. The detail on this set is really unbelievable, and the wings are bento which is so fun!

As you can see I had loads of fun taking pics of this, I have like a hundred more!

I also tried my tears for my Catwa head, which honestly I was surprised by how much I enjoyed messing around with them and the impact they had on my pictures.  I've been in SL almost 10 years and am amazed by how far we've come.

I had told myself that I was going to try to do OOTD posts everyday.....clearly that's working \o/  BUT better late than never...right?  

So we'll start this new year out with this cute little OOTD...that I have no name for!  I know I know, I'm totally rocking the whole blogger thing 😀

Pandora..it's not just a box!

I think one of my favorite things in SL, is seeing the amazing creativity and beauty that can emerge from that creativity.  I love decorating and landscaping and creating atmospheres, it's a zen experience for me.  So when my best friend told me her family were opening a resort sim, I knew I would love it!

Meet Pandora Resort.......

If I'm honest I went there to take pics of my avi in a pretty place for a blog post....but then as I walked around, I was amazed and relaxed all at the same time.  This place is BEAUTIFUL!

A lovely, peaceful wooded sim with secluded little rentals scattered about.  You can rent these sweet little homes for a minimum of a week, and enjoy you're own virtual vacation!  There is a lovely park and village center area that is fun to walk around and explore. 

They have a lovely spa area, that I could have very easily sunk into one of the bath houses and sat for ages getting pruney!

And then....there is the wedding location.  I mean...it made me want to get SL married LOL

(obviously not dressed for a wedding lol)

I highly recommend that you go take a wander about the amazing place!!  It's awe inspiring and serene at the same time!!
